DAY 1 ZAGREBWelcome to Zagreb. Person from travel agency wait you at the airport, transfer and drive to your accommodation. Following the check-in, the remainder of the day is free for personal interest and activities. After you accomodate, we invite you for a welcome drink in hotel lobby. Zagreb is the capital city of the Republic of Croatia. Today, Zagreb is the administrative, business, cultural, transport and scientific centre of Croatia. Its position and culture classifies it as a Central European city. You can spend the day visiting the capital city and its historical and cultural attractions, museums, performances or simply spend the day strolling through the city centre, having a coffee on one of the many well known Zagreb terraces or perhaps try some specialties in one of the many Zagreb gourmet restaurants. DAY 2 ZAGREB-LJUBLJANA-BLED-ZAGREBAfter breakfast, a day tour of Ljubljana and Bled. City tour Ljubljana with offical tour guide. Ljubljana is a medium-sized European city, it is a place where eastern and western cultures meet. Strolling trough the Old Town district we will explore many baroque buildings, the colorful farmer’s market, the cathedral od St. Nicholas and up the hill, above the city, we’ll see the old medieval fortress which stands up there like an old guardian of the city. After city tour, we will take tour around Bled lake. This stunning blue lake in the heart of the town, the picture-postcard church on the island, a medieval castle clinging to a rocky cliff and some of the highes peaks of the Julian Alps. After we explore the oldest castle in Slovenia, you can enjoy a „Pletna boat“ to ride to St, Mary’s Island. You will definitely feel like you are a part of a wondeful fairy-tale. After day tour in Slovenia, back to Zagreb. Dinner in Zagreb autohton restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 3 ZAGREB-BEOGRADAfter breakfast city tour Zagreb. You will meer your guide at the hotel lobby and start sightseeing tour of Zagreb. The city tour will give you knowledge about two different cities: the modern, urban adn the historic and cultural zagreb. The tour will start at Zagreb’s main square-Ban Jelačć square. You will take a ride by Zagreb’s funicular, originally built in 1890, which is the shortest cable car in the world. From the Upper town (old) you will enjoy some of the most beautiful views of the area. After Upper city tour continue trough Zagreb small mystic streets go downtown passing by the Zagreb’s Cathedral and walking trough Croatia’s biggest and picturesque Farmer’s market „Dolac“. After morning city tour, check out from hotel and continue way to Beograd. Check inn hotel and refreshing time before dinner. Dinner in typical Belgrade restaurant. An overnight stay.
DAY 4 BEOGRAD-SKOPJEWe start the day with a tour of Belgrade. Visit old fortress- Kalemegdan, Knez Mihajlova street, the Cathedral and drive to one of largest churches in the world St. Sava, continue to Dedinje to visit tomb of Yugoslav president Tito. After city tour continue way to Skopje. Sightseeing of the old town with famous stone bridge, fort Kale and Railway clock. Dinner in autohton Skopje restaurant. Overnight in Skopje.
DAY 5 SKOPJE-OHRIDMorning breakfast and check out from hotel in Skopje. Continue way to Ohrid. Check inn in hotel and free time in Ohrid for personal interest and activities.Ohrid is one of Europe’s oldest and deepest lakes. Evening dinner in autohton restaurant. Overnight stay.
DAY 6 OHRIDMorning breakfast, city tour Ohrid with official guide. This day you will have opportunity to enjoy the views of its astonishingly clean and clear waters and serene stillness of its mountainous settings. However, besides beautiful landscape, Lake Ohrid is famous for its authentic and unique souvenir – the well-known Ohrid pearl which is made out of scales of The bleak (fish). This treasured jewel is produced according to a secret method which was passed on from generation to generation. We shall visit one of the two existing jewelers that still make the original Ohrid Pearl, nowadays quite rare. Guide will take you on an inspiring walk by the lake, through the little narrow cobbled streets of Ohrid hill, among the beautiful Byzantine churches, up to Samoil’s fortress and on the most picturesque cliff of St. Jovan Kaneo, where you can grab the chance for a magnificent photo shoots. After city tour, back to Ohrid, overnight in Ohrid.
DAY 7 OHRID-TIRANAMorning breakfast and after berakfast we will continue with our trip and head towards Tirana, Albania, where we shall spend the night. Lively, colorful Tirana is the beating heart of Albania. Walking through the city with local guide, you will get to see remarkable historical mix from elegant minarets to socialist murals. Tirana’s boulevards lined with remainders of its Ottoman, Italian and Communist past and its unique buildings painted in primary colors will simply be a pleasure to wander through. Overnight in Tirana.
DAY 8 TIRANA-SKADAR-BUDVAMorning breakfats and continue way to Skadar. National park Lake Skadar is the most visited of the 5 national parks in Montenegro. As the name indicates, the main part of the national park is a lake, the Skadar lake which is a ~400-500 km2 (varies during the year) fresh water lake on the border between Montenegro and Albania.After visiting National park continue way to Budva.Overnight in coastal Town of Budva known for its well preserved medieval walled city, sandy beaches and diverse nightlife.
DAY 9 BUDVA-KOTOR-BUDVAMorning breakfast and city tour Budva and Kotor. First you will have a tour of Budva and its medieval walled city. As was customary in the Middle Ages, the town was built as a fortress. Inside the fortress you will be surprised to find a medieval town in its original form – with its narrow streets, squares and stone staircases leading to the elegant houses with small windows framed by hewn frames and red-tiled roofs. The region of Kotor is UNESCO cultural and natural heritage site whose beauty lies in its medieval fortified and open towns, settlements, palaces and simple houses and their integration to the terraced landscape on the slopes of high rocky hills. You will enjoy the Kotor town walk with local guide and its natural and culture-historical sites like the four Romanesque churches and 9th century town walls within which lie labyrinth like marbled lanes and hidden piazzas with churches, shops, bars and restaurants. After day tour of Budva and Kotor back to Budva, overnight.
DAY 10 BUDVA-DUBROVNIKAfter breakfast we continue with our tour towards the south of Croatia – Dubrovnik, the Pear of The Adriatic. Arrival into Dubrovnik, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Cities Programme, and is one of the most important historical land tourist centres in Croatia. In the Middle Ages, the Dubrovnik Republic was the only town-state on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea competing with Venice. Also, Dubrovnik was one of the centres in developing the Croatian language and literature. City tour Dubrovnik with local guide (visiting the town walls, Dubrovnik Cathedral, the numerous churches and monasteries, palaces). An overnight stay.
DAY 11 DUBROVNIK-STON-SPLITAfter breakfast free time in Dubrovnik. After some time spending and relaxing in Dubrovnik, continue way to Ston where you will have lunch in well known restoran Bakhus. After lunch and spending some time in beautiful Ston town, continue way to Split. Split is the largest city in Dalmatia and the second largest city in Croatia, with the third largest port on the Mediterranean Sea in regards to the number of passengers. Also, Split has a rich history that includes cultural and historical attractions.An overnight stay.
DAY 12 SPLIT-TROGIR-SPLITAfter breakfast city tour of Split and neighboring towns of Trogir and Salona with local guide. You will visit Diocletian’s Palace listed on UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage List, a palace from the fourth century and which functions today as the city centre making this city unique, a visit to the Peristil, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. You will also visit a remarkable roman ruins of Salona. An overnight stay.
DAY 13 SPLIT-ZADARMorning breakfast and check out from hotel. Continue drive to Zadar Zadar is a city on the Croatian seacoast, the centre of the Zadar County and wider region of northern Dalmatia. Zadar has a rich history dating back to ancient times. Accommodation is in a hotel and time is provided for touring the town with local guide (visit to the forum – the main square from Roman times located underneath the foundation of the Church of St. Donatus, the Church of St. Anastasia, the town walls – Muraj, Kalelarga – the most famous Zadar street). DAY 14 ZADAR-PLITVICE-ZAGREBAfter breakfats check out and continue way to Plitvice lakes. The Plitvice Lakes, being the most prominent and most visited of all eight national parks in Croatia, is the only one in Croatia, in terms of cultural values, classified in the (UNESCO) World Heritage Listing and has been listed since 1979, amongst the first in the world. Plitvice Lakes are a world pearl of incalculable value. Its specific beauty is a sanctuary for nature lovers and an inspiration for artists, whereas the uniqueness and richness of its nature is an occupation of scientists. Plitvice Lakes consists of 16 beautiful lakes connected by waterfalls of various. After Plitvice lakes tour, lunch in Rastoke village, A watermill village situated where the blue-green waters of river Slunjcica flows into the Korana river. Most of the houses were built at the end of the 19th and the beginning o¬f the 20th century. Because of its extraordinary natural beauties and historical tradition, in 1962 Rastoke village fell under the protection of the State Directorate for cultural and historical heritage. After lunch continue way to Zagreb. Overnight in Zagreb.
DAY 15 ZAGREBAfter breakfast free time in Zagreb. Completion of trip which is timed to the departure of your flight, transfer to airport.
